About
Dorottya is an Integrative Counsellor, Coach, and Business Psychologist with over 13 years of experience in the field of Psychology. Originally from Hungary, she spent much of her life in the UK, where she trained and established her professional career. Now based in Dubai, UAE, she offers personalised therapy for individuals and bespoke services for corporate clients.
Dorottya’s approach draws on a diverse background in clinical, forensic, and organisational and business psychology, focusing on helping both individuals and organisations to thrive. She has worked across various sectors, including education, the criminal justice system (courts, police, probation services, and prisons), victim support, community rehabilitation, aviation, and private practice. This broad experience has given her deep insights into human behaviour, trauma, relationships, identity, and culture, all of which inform her work as a Psychologist and Consultant.
Having lived in multiple countries, Dorottya has a profound understanding of transitions, systems, and the complexities of identity. Her approach is holistic and tailored, blending psychological techniques, theories, and evidence-based practices to meet each client’s unique needs.
For individuals, she is passionate about supporting those navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, or cultural and identity-related challenges. In her work with organisations, she helps leaders address cultural issues, enhance workplace dynamics, and foster positive, effective working environments. With a strong interest in cyberpsychology following her masters research thesis on belongingness in the digital world, Dorottya also considers the impact of our ever-evolving cyber landscape on mental health, cyber leadership, and organisational culture, helping clients and companies adapt to the digital complexities that increasingly influence both personal and professional life.
